New Year, New Office Space...

Hi, Everyone! I always feel like each year most of the month of January is spent doing new things; getting started on your New Year's resolutions, re-arranging your furniture to give your home a new look, trying out new and healthier recipes, and de-cluttering your house and life in general! That's exactly what I've been doing this week, de-cluttering my desk and freshening things up a little. It's always so much easier to have a fresh new start when everything has a fresh new look! Here are some pictures...

A large mirror, one of my favorite art prints, a pretty lamp for plenty of light, fresh cut roses, a little bird and some of my favorite books.

I did start out by making a new lampshade for my desk, but that didn't go quite as planned. I had an old lamp that I wanted to re-do, so I drew out a stencil and started tracing it onto the lampshade. It looked pretty enough, but as soon as I started painting it, I wasn't happy with it at all... and so I just decided to get a new lamp! Not all projects always work out...

Fresh cut roses for a pop of color

Happy Weekend, Everyone!

  3. Would have to agree with Dee. Your office is very inviting indeed. By the way, there’s nothing wrong with looking at your reflection while you write. I do that sometimes too. :D [Blake Mitchell]

  6. New year, new look for your office! What a good way to start the year! I also like the idea of working in front of a mirror! It helps you visualize ideas more clearly

  7. An educated consumer is Washington DC office space's best customer. In the name Washington DC office space, you will find discussion on a few commercial real estate topics that Washington DC office space are most frequently asked to explain. Unfortunately, not much has been written on the intricacies of Washington DC office space's industry and that leads to missteps by consumers.
